“I saw Specks on Gamefinder and KNEW that I HAD to play them, even though he had a nice TR/TS advantage. The last time I played fanatic I had been grievously wounded. Being knocked out of the GLT was inevitable, but losing my first and so far only Legend player. The Lizards needed revenge!

My handicap was palmed coin, and I chose to receive. First three blocks I got two stuns, and a non-DP foul made it 3. I didn't play very well...at all, and didn't score. I did get unlucky at some parts, but I definitely could have played better.

Second half Fanatic scored about halfway through because I was pressuring him alot. My blodge/break tackle Kroxigor could have gotten the ball loose, but failed a GFI...ah well.

With four turns to go, my plan was to score quick and then try to steal the ball for the win in the final two turns. Unfortunately the clock was pushed forward a turn on the kickoff, and so all my plans were gone. I still scored in 2 turns, but with my fans throwing a rock instead of me getting a blitz, a tie was all I could get.

We did get our vengeance though. We niggled his highest SPP player, and threw his block/tackle/DP into the crowd...also resulting in a niggle. With two skilled players retired, the Lizards decided that revenge had been exacted. Coach WindexChugger commented later that he wished the two niggles had been kills because "It's always fun to add skull-trophies to the team bio."
