Both teams had 10 players to field so I thought this would be an interesting match.

The first half went well for both teams. The elves scored a blinder in the 2nd turn and the chaos managed to scramble one back in the last turn of the half after some great blitzing from NIKE. Also, elves only had 1 reroll this half.

The elves were slighlty unlucky this half. At times they were down to 6 players (receiving 0 from 3 KO's at half time). The chaos then looked to score early on but stalled instead (boo!). After the chaos eventually scored the elves sat back in their own half waiting for a long bomb to develop. Another tactic presented itself whereby the elves planned a daring tactic, but immediately failed a 2+dodge leading to a choas TD.

A good game and considering I was expecting a severe pounding, the elves saw the game through.

One note though: Tobrane agreed that the game would be a laugh and mentioned he wouldn't foul either as he doesn't do it. He played knowing I didn't care much for the result but I wouldn't go down without a fight. Saying this, I was disappointed he resorted to stalling on such a game and then had the cheek to ask me to concede the game for him as I'm retiring the team!!! no doubt the elves would have lost, but stalling when the other team is down to 6 players and that I was only playing a final game with this team seemed a bit pointless and made the second half dull.

Anyway, not bad a result considering.

You won fair and square and did what chaos do best and i think you would have won even without stalling, but would have made it more interesting...

cheers dude

It was a good game indeed...

Just to answer the two comments:

- About stalling, without a bit of luck, I don't have the speed to stop elves, as was seen by the lightning fast TD in the first half. So first intention was to secure a 2-1 win rather than risk a tie. My experience from first half: it took me 6 turns to score because of constant the strip ball blitz. I just wanted to get a couple players more off the pitch. So I decided to stop stalling after in my 4th turn as I inflicted 1 more KO. Fact is, as you mentioned, you could have had a good shot at tying the game if not for a failed 2+ dodge.

- About the concession comment... I did put a " :P "... Of course I wouldn't have minded if you did conceed, but wasn't counting on it at all. Was just a goofy thing to say.

Anyway, as you said, not a bad result and didn't find the game to be dull at all...

Cheers!
