Triples Calaveras received first against the Deadliest Catch in the Finals. The High Elves played pretty good defense coming up with a turnover to score right before the end of the half. Things were looking great for them after they received and scored quickly to try and put the game away. With a comfortable 2-0 lead the Chaos forces strike back with their own two turn touchdown. All of a sudden DC was in desperation mode with the ball going both ways for a time. DC looked like they were going to put the game away but a fumble by Drisden left the ball exposed (SNAKE EYES FTL!!!!). The Chaos team had no problems picking up the ball and throwing for a touchdown pass to force overtime.

DC tried to do something in OT with a Blitz! but the ball was too far to do anything. Playing aggressively with no reviews left (0rrs, vs 2rrs in OT) they were quickly taken off the pitch by way of KO. Lord Borak had the ball and there was no way the High Elves could take it away from him in a cage, especially when the Prince was taken out by a foul earlier. It was just a matter of running the ball in and TC win the Tournament.

It was a long road for the Deadliest Catch. They were the underdogs the entire tournament playing up an average of 12 Team Strength per round. In the Finals, their luck caught up to them. Still, this would be the second time this team would blow a 2-0 lead to lose. What a shame.
