#1 Sam Doman – Dead (RIP)
Well a very strange game....the new BYU Troll (Ben Criddle) was on his debut on the LOS and first block was MNG so missed the whole of his first game and the next too :-)

In the first half Washing tried to run the ball into the Orc half but failed to cross the LOS and in the end ended up being sacked byt a 2db BOB blitz that freed up the ball.

Washing thought they had tied up the Cougarz but a nice hand off move between Jace Bramwell and Austin Collie almost saw BYU score before half time. Sadly Washing managed to recover and secure the ball before the whistle.

Note that in the first half Sam Doman was killed with apoth fail.

In the second half the BYU luck improved they Got the Ref with their huge fan following intimidating the man in stripes. All three fouls were poor and saw only one KO (hmm DP needed badly!)

BYU recieved and hung back a bit as they were a man down prior to the foul, and Neeley with his Dodging was a useful guy to have on the ball against a team with no notable Tacklers.

BYU waited for Washing to draw themselves in to the ruck and fortunately they did so. Whilst such a ploy is always risky, it does reward well if the luck runs your way.

Today in the second half it did and a couple of POW's saw Neeley and two companion blitzers run free and down the flank to eventually score at the death, whilst the rest of teh team tied down Washing.

Hard luck Talc it was a strange game and a draw would probably been fair after all that efort by both teams. Good luck in the next game!
