“Fine game from both sides. The Gobbo's had brought three trolls, including Ripper Bolgrot, to make life hard on the Destroyers. UnFunnies had good succes with singling out the Destroyers player and then giving them the boot. Especially Penelope Pussycat was good at sticking his boot in. But else can you expect from gobbos :-). The Destroyers tried to get their hands on Pussycat, but he always seemed to slip through their fingers.
The Destroyers took the lead midway through the first half and held on to this into the 2nd. The UnFunnies then equalised later on but in the end luck smiled on the Destroyers. In a difficult situation Brutus Barbaris (CW) managed to pushed the ball into the stands were the Destroyers fanclub was waiting to chuck down the field to a waiting Maron Blurkish who handed it over to Lex Trimm who then finished off the game.
