#6 Zazzel – Dead (RIP)
Something of a 'friendly' game here, with the confidence bashed Narash Val taking on Rigor Mortem, after a string of heavy losses had left coach Evilo tearing his hair out in despair.

With a handicap in place, and Kalep II missing the game after sustaining serious injury (his wrappings needed retying, it was rumoured), Rigor Mortem struggled to field a full team throughout. However, their natural aggression and, at times, dirty play, more than made up for the shortage. The instruction they received from their coach meant they often left Narash Val flatfooted as they strove to optimise their strengths.

Early drives from Marsi Milo saw two touchdowns in quick succession for the Val. But the second half started with some inspired play from Revan and Carth III, exploiting holes in Narash's shabby line to power through for a retaliatory score.

Sadly the effort was too much for Rigor Mortem to continue - outmanned (outelfed?) on the field, they struck hard, killing Zazzel, but could do little to stop the second elf blitzer, Nizita Velo, from pushing forwards to make the final score 3-1. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed game, with some fantastically skilled play demonstrated.
