#4 Taleki – Smashed Knee (NI)
Standing up against a more skilled, more competent and more focused Dark Elf attack is always going to be tough, but especially as luck seemed to run against Narash Val. For most of the first half, passes were fumbled, drives collapsed, and early knockouts and injuries (Ktarza Revile, Nizita Velo) left the team at one point down to six men vs Monstruis CF's full squad.

Touch downs came in thick and fast from the attackers, Monstrui scoring three, and Felipon dancing across the line early in the second half to take the score to 4-0. The beating continued, with further knockouts and players dragged off the pitched, only made worse by the sweltering heat which prevented men from both sides from even getting back into the game.

The only saving grace, if it could be considered that, was some firm defensive play from Val at the close of the game, as they held onto the ball deep in their half and forced Monstruis CF to come at them. They couldn't hold out long, as their rivals swarmed around them and sent Taleki off the pitch with a sprained hand, but CF's final attempt at a touchdown fell short at the line, keeping the score (thankfully?) at 4-0. Back to the drawing board for Narash Val, and onwards and upwards for Monstruis CF.
