Three Niggling injuries in first game against a soft team.

Nevermind that I played 6 vs 11 for most of the second half, but three nigglings is just to much for me to want to continue. Nevermind that I fumbled just about all ballhandling I was required to do, or doubleskulled on my Rat Ogre at all critical moments. Nevermind a humiliating defeat and an opponent making all his important rolls without exception, but so many injuries is just bad.

I made a 12 man team with some extra strength and only 2 GR and played a soft team just to avoid this kind of crap in my first game, but to no avail.
I did play on though, because he shouldn't pay for me dumping a crippled team. Better luck with my next team, I guess.

Well played by my opponent though, and I do wish him all luck in his future games.

The game vs. the Bill of Wrongs started bad, with Kim Toft being injured before the Dinos even got to move, the bills went up lane fast, but when ther thrower fumbled his pass or the TD things changed!
First Doc managed to push an opposing Gutter Runner over the sideline (the Dinos fans beat him up for a niggling injury) then Fletcher went and took the ball and started heading for the endzone, the opponents were more or less chanceless to stop him, and the dinos had a one to nothing lead after their own kick off.
On the following kick off, the Bills went hard on Dinos, but Thor Blokhus managed to bring down their rat ogre (although it cost him a KO), and “Hansen” got the ball, he headed for the end zone escorted by Fletcher, and the rest of Dinos went for the fight.
“Hansen” made the TD, and Bills were fighting to stay in the game!
Not much more happened in the first half, so the Dinos were about to receive…
Dino made a gap in the right side, but Peter Michael failed to pick up the ball, then Claus took the bal, threw it to Fletcher who ran and made a hand off to “Mini Hansen” who made the TD – three to nothing!
At 3-0 the Dinos decided to blitz, it was a long kick, so they couldn’t get the ball, instead they ruined the line of the bills and sent Fletcher deep to harass the bills thrower, the bills went for the pass, again their thrower fumbled, so “Mini Hansen” went for the ball, threw it to Fletcher who scored!
Four to nothing, the Dinos were heading for their third win in 4 matches!
The bills still fought though, and their final gutter runner came close to the end zone before being knocked down, once he was down it was easy for the dinos though, Fletcher passed to “mini Hansen” who handed off to Stig Schou, who then became the first lineman to score for the Dinos EVER! – Nice work!
On the last kick off the Dinos fans took out the ref just for fun, bills had only a few minutes to score to reclaim some glory, they tried, but was too underhanded. At the end Stig Schou was named MVP – well deserved one might add :).
Added after reading what "the other side" had to say: All in all the dinos performed very well, and our opponent had quite a few bad dice rolls - were an "old boys" team, but we never claimed to be soft ;)
