Both teams came in with a short roster.

Handicaps for candle -
(1) I am the greatest - Ogre and Troll -- hehe wonderfull
(2) Bad Press - no biggy until the 1st KO result - get the ref

So the elves started with the ball and played some stall ball. My DP was lucky enough to counter the GTR advantage. I had trouble getting to the ball carrier but Candle helped me out by knocking himself down on turn 4 on a failed block.

A scurry followed with my DP knocking himself out while falling over the endzone in turn 8.

2nd half was like 7 vs 6 after a flurry of injuries in half #1. After getting shellacked a couple of times, my gutter managed to score in turn 7 allowing the 5 elves 2 turns for the equalizer. But a beautifull kick off back towards the endzone forced an eventual long pass and we held off.

Nice stunty ......er .... I mean Dix-X game. By the way, the Troll (who was the greatest and never saw the pitch) spent the game in the weight room, got the MVP, and came out with +1 STR.
