“SWL Season 32: Manfred's Funeral Gala Conference League - Game 6

A game of 3 parts. Germany opened up with all the luck & momentum going our way, blitzing into the BBQ backfield, and scoring through Sabine, and executing a rare 100% perfect first drive.

Then it was the BBQ's turn. They trundled down field, and nothing we could do seemed to worry them, and they ended up scoring through Sarah II.

At some point during all that, the weather turned icey, and the second half started as a claustraphobic affair. On offense, Germany tried the right side but found it too cramped, so we backed out & switched play to the left where there was more space. Heinz survived a charge from Arabelle, and scored to take the score to 2-1.

After that there was a deep kick and a scurmish to prevent the BBQ from equalising, and Germany eventually got away with a tight one.

Well played dc, felt tight all game.
