I received and scored in two to start off the game. Easy enough with a Pitch Invasion to clear the way. Then I kicked off and managed to drop the ball about 6 spaces from the LOS on his weak side. Sure enough: blitz. I managed to get one lineelf in position to grab the ball but he had no support. The orcs rushed in to defend and got 2 men on him. I formed up a pocket behind him and tried to blitz him free but I rolled nothing except some pushes. He dropped back a bit and ended up handing off to the SPP hog (Fir Darrig) for the second score. Kicked off again and the third drive didn't have enough time to score (although I was expecting some high-flying gobbo action). End of the half, 2-0.

Second half went almost the same way. A perfect defense and a nice, deep kick lead to one turnover while the second was a desparate play to stop the blitzer that was just a turn out of scoring range. The Orc's final chance to score was shot down by a riot to end the game.

I had a real good time playing Lyngs. Not very chatty but entirely friendly when he did pipe up, so not like one of those people you constantly assume are swearing at you. He played a good solid game but the kickoff results (one quick snap and all the rest were big winners for me) and armor rolls (he put a whole lot of elves on the ground but the BH and the SI came late in the match. The RIP was apothed early) made it an uphill battle.
