#10 Etekkit – Dead (RIP)
[Extra Training, Smelling Salts] (not exactly the handis you'd hope for)

A cool game, with some nifty plays.

First half was dominated by very smart ogres, with the 8 of them failing 3 rolls among them until about T7. However the goblin ball handler could not make a break to the end zone and eventually got trapped and POWed. The ball landed next to the sideline amid a heap of bodies. Some lucky chainpushes bounced it 4 squares out and freed it for a T8 pass attempt to score, but alas, 0-0 at the half.

Second half, I got the ball on a touchback and gave it to a chaos warrior. The ogres mashed in, and I fought to squeeze open a space, but poor rolls left the ogres a chance to break through and 2db the ball free. A turn later they scooped and ran with it, and my team lay on the ground, ogres looming above. My one beast near the ball made a desperate play to dodge(4+) and push (-2db) the ball into the end zone to break the stall, if not prevent a score.

My ball back with 2 turns to go, I overloaded on one sideline, smashing an ogre and fouling to stun it, while a couple beasts did what the could to screen. I passed the ball early, figuring to take 2 attempts at it if the first failed...I needed luck keeping my opening to the goal as it was. The nearest ogre to blitz needed a GFI, which failed with no reroll. I scored with 2 GFI.
