“I expected this match to be a tough one where I would probably lose but might be able to lay on the hurt against the vulnerable but speedy rats. As so often before my judgement was proved wrong by Nuffle.
The match started off with a useless handicap but with two of his nigglers being benched. The match opened with a perfect defense and a failed pick up by the Rats. This allowed the Disciples to quickly bash the rats into the KO box and capture the ball with two roaming Bull Centaurs. At the end of the first half we were up 1-0 and had only 5 opposing rats on the field. The rest were camping in the KO dugout.
At the start of second half the rats were able to field 8 players again and gained a blitz kick-Off result. This however didn’t prove enough to stop the dwarven offense and midway through the second half the rats didn’t even bother to stand up from the ground. My new Bull was thus able to score his second touchdown this match.
I should have stalled out till the end but decided that was lame and went for some more play. We did manage to capture the ball but did not have enough time to score a third touchdown. But while I was quite lucky in general this match I didn’t manage to score a single casualty all match long in over 30 blocks many of them with mighty blow against AV7. My opponent’s clawed out linerat however somehow really seemed to have a grudge against Bart. First he nearly niggled him (saved by the apo) and one turn later he smashed up his collar bone. This will unfortunately mean the end of Bart his carreer...
Great match and my first win in the real League... though not without a price...

With all the ball-action going against me, I was fortunate to only get KOs but managed to keep quiet about it so Nuffle didn't notice.
Bas's DP got sent off on his second foul in the first half (another KO I think -nothing serious anyway) and he refrained from kicking my rats any more once I left them down -they reckoned they were safer on the ground with those MBs everywhere and the Ref watching. Handing off to the rookie Centaur in T4 almost cost Bas his 1st half TD but he recovered just in time.
The second half started with a Blitz but I didn't have the power to take advantage and my Runner was set up too far back to make it to the ball. I then miscounted his run and didn't get him next to the hobgoblin near the ball either. Numbers told once more.
The Fans clearly enjoyed the blood and the last-ditch attempt to score one back: the Bad Press worked out alright in the longer term and we walked from the field with no new injuries!
Snakeeter can't retire just yet but Rushclaw brought in a new Protege who may fill his boots in time.”
