“Round 2 of the Lizzies third season, and things are looking up (finally).
A good (and, if i'm honest, a rather relaxed) match against a coach who appears to be Nuffles whipping boy. Either way, I guess his hoodoo is worse than mine, as we managed to sneak away with a 3-1 victory.

The game started with a few fumbling offensive drives from the rats, and the the Lizzies were able to capitalise, scoring a TD in the dying moments of the first half.
Setting up in the second half, the Rats were already looking a little the worse for wear, and the bad news continued. With both 'Runners out, and the numbers advantage firmly with the Lizzies ( a welcome change), a 2-0 scoreline was never far away.
However, the 'Furry' showed that they are certainly no rank beginners, displaying the kind of bloobowl magic that has kept their fans loyal through the many many seasons, with a stunning speccy (looong) pass to the waiting linerat.
With 3 turns left, the Lizzies set up for the final nail. A wobbly kick put the ball into the hands of the rookie itZ'kui, who, despite a gritty defensive effort, was able to stroll in for a TD, leaving the final score at 3-1

3pts - #2 SpeedBumper: For showing that Stormvermins aren't just for blitzing, posting two completions, one of which was a spectacular long bomb in the second half to save the face of this veteran Skaven team (and their coach ;)
2pts - #8 Jankl: For being a perpetual thorn in the side, this spectacularly ugly rat stymied a number of offensives, and burned at least a couple of rerolls...
1pts - #6 Skreen: For casually sauntering into the endzone and calmly catching the pass when we least expected it..
