“My first entry into an XFL tourny and what a game it was! Close till the end but eventually lost the coin-toss. Stats say it all both 2TD's, 4 cas, 19spp's, rushing 41-42, the only major difference is blocks. Nobbla was hired by the opposition but he couldn't get his saw to start. Annatool badly hurt Nobbla on a foul and got ejected. I managed to steal the ball and score in the first half. I ko'd one of his trolls and as payback he bh'd one of mine that didn't regenerate. Getting my other troll ko'd early in the second half didn't help much. It was 6vs10, but still managed to give my oppo a hard time but he eventually tied in turn 8 of the 2nd half. OT, luckily my troll comes back from ko box so its 6vs7, me kicking, could be worse. Managed to keep oppo tied up for 5turns and then he had to score because a stall was to dangerous. Now its looking grim and only the dreaded TTM seems to be the only thing that would get us back in the game. Moved most players upfield and threw the gobbo with ball. Landing costs me my last reroll but works. We land seven squares from endzone. And now the moment of worst but most typical luck in the match, GFI fails, player ko'd!:D Bugger. But then my oppo has a quick turnover and the ball is still laying there uncovered. I have to dodge twice with a gobbo, pick it up and GFI, all works! Marduk for president!!:) Oppo's final TTM attempt faels and my troll goes really stupid or I would have had one more shot at a TTM. 2-2 Coin toss goes in favor of oppo:) Great game, lots of cheering specs, lotsa things that go splat! I enjoyed it very much. Think my oppo's team is nicely built and he could become a contender for the top places. I wish him good luck in the rest of the tourny.”
