“The Restless Knights come out strong, to start the 2nd season of cycle #2, for the Dauntless Athletic League. Having played the Fire of Chotek, in three of the past four matches, the rivalry continues with the edge in the series getting taken over the dead body of a skink.

The Knights won the toss and looked a bit rusty as the Fire performed a stunt on the opening kick-off, shifting it's players around to gain a strategic advantage. After a couple of hits the rust was knocked off, but the Knights were already on their heels, trying to prevent the skink swarm from over-running their back lines. Meanwhile Lord and Lady Xander went to work on the bigger lizards... sending two of them off the pitch, carried by a team of paraclerics (unfortunately one of the paraclerics was a rookie and he couldn't save Scorch from a mangled back).

When time expired for the first half and the dust settled, a the ball was found lying directly before the Knight's end zone, surrounded by both teams clawing away at one another in a massive pile.

The second half begin with the Knights kicking off. Unfortunately the Fire were undermanned and desperate... just how the Knights like to see their opponents. Another scrum ensued on the Knights half of the field, although this time, Sir Remecius had just the remedy for the annoying little lizards. A few moments later, more than half of the little lizards were being dragged out of the fray. At one point the crowd went wild as Lord Xander somehow got a hold of the ball... the celebration was short lived though... one of the big lizards knocked the ball out of his shocked grasp, which the lizard soon regretted, once Lord Xander smashed him into a heap and laughed as the lizard was dragged off the field.

Sir Zeven rumbled in the winning score to end the game, but not before Oskar Theodosius ended the existence of Combustion, with a well placed boot... compliments to the chef btw, lizards taste like chicken.
