I'm getting close to quitting this game now. I've said it before, but how much punishment can I take? Despite playing in lots of L tournaments I never win any, because sooner or later I run into a match like this. As if it wasn't enough with the handicap being Morley's and landing on my 2 absolutely best players AND the troll, or the apothecary failing. It had to go over the hill with a pitch invasion that takes out 6 of 9 players in my offensive drive, followed by a ridiculously lucky turn where the opponent RIP's my ball carrier and stuns the 2 guards. I'm playing quite well. It should be rewarded.
With over 500 matches luck should balance out. But it doesn't. It never will. I sometimes feel like I'm part of some sick psychological experiment where my account has been modified to screw me like this and doctors sit around monitoring human behavior or how long someone will stand playing a game that they like but that does everything it can to make them not play it.

On both his mb blitzers and the troll!
Still; I rated myself the underdog, albeit one with a slightly better chance.
At the end of the first half the score was 1-1.
Orcs receive. Both have an unused wizard.
I'd start with 8 humans vs 9 Orcs.
things looked bleak.
Then the 'hand of God' intervened; pitch invasion with a mere 2 humans and 6 (?) Orcs down and stunned.
This proved too much and I could score. Even stalled a turn.
My hopes were rising but still; setting up with 7 vs a few more (very) angry Orcs who were more than willing to drag me into overtime...
His fireball sent 2 humans to the KO box.
I had *one* chance; my own wizard.
Lightning stunned his AG4 blitzer and one of my heroes dodged away from a BOB, picked up the ball and threw it to an empty square.
His thrower could reach it but only with 2 gfi. (costing a RR)
The pass was accurate enough but my annoying humans knew all they had to do was be annoying for one last turn.
The MA7 Orc Blitzer failed to catch.
I'd like to think because the human line-man poked his finger in his eye. :)
