“After my turn 7, the game was 1-1 and my beastman was 7 squares from the EZ, ready to score next turn unless my opponent could stop him in his last turn. In the remaining turns, Nuffle showed that he has a wicked sense of humor:

First my opponent gets an assists to my ballcarrier by GFI'ing twice with a zombie (neither of us have any rerolls left). Then he makes a 4+ and a 3+ dodge with his wight, GFI's twice and rolls the one die block -- SKULL.

I tell him not to worry, I'll fail my GFI required to score. Lo and behold, not only do I fail the GFI to win the match, but my beastman is SI'd and gets a niggle. Luckily I have my apo left, and he manages to cure the little bugger. :-)”
