“Fun game. Good win for Bascrebolder.
Started off brightly with a blitz, however, some good dodge rolls were wasted after I failed to knock over a block-less ball carrier to take the ball. Did, however, manage to stop first half TD. Or rather, Bascrebolder failed to roll anything but skulls twice in a row to save me from a score.
Made a host of basic errors in the second half - including miscounting sprint distance for final turn to give me a shot at scoring an equaliser - plus leaving my ballcarrier in blitz range and cleverly blocking off my blitzer's one route for a TD. Not such an impressive effort offensively for the second game running.
Fun things worked, important ones didn't so much. Lots of nice dodges. However, managed two KOs in whole game with 8MBs. Also failed to knock over ball carrier without block on 1D in five efforts, which was a telling factor when it came to the second half.
All in all, very disappointing. Need to improve offensive setup with this team. More importantly, need to get some inspiration, which is sadly lacking at present.
Promotion is out of reach now. Focus will be keeping team up for the season, looking at the effect of any trim, and then considering a different team for next season.

Meanwhile the two bullcentaurs got the objective to go sweeping deep inside the opponents field and take advantage of the lumbering slow dwarves.... They looked forward to facing of the “whimpy runny shorties”...
In the end the match turned out to be the opposite of last game’s bloodbath. Both sides armour held remarkably well considering the punnishing blocks that were dealt and in the end it became a “war of maneuvre” where speed was of the essence.
The Disciple’s coach made a huge blunder costing him a near certain touchdown in the late first half. Luckily the dwarven offensive was very strongly stacked in the Line Of Scimmage, leaving the backfield with only 2 runners to fend for themselves. When Onyx failed to pick up the ball he was charged by the fast moving Bull Centaurs and hobgoblins.
In the end the dwarves were to slow to prevent a defensive touchdown by their evil cousins...
