Da Gitz received first and were sloppy with ball protection. The uber Bulls took down the carrier and there was a scramble for the loose ball. It looked like da Gitz would come out on top until Thrower Turgu failed to pick up the ball after we cleared it. A bad bounce and a good turn from the Hats to compund the error and it was 0-1 at half-time.
The Hats had similar trouble protecting their carrier on their second half drive, and da Gitz got him down several times. It was not enough though, as we could never steal the ball, only prevent a TD.
