“tough and fun match.
Things started out great with a blitz giving the ball to my ag5 catcher. Was able to stall a little before scoring as well.
Dwarves came back with a score as I could not knock the ball carrier down with 4 dies. But with the help of quick snap i was able to one turn for 2-1. Receiving in the second half with wiz and 2-1 a few good guys stayed out, and I tried to skill my dancer. quite greedy ;). Gump wanted to punish that and broke into my cage knocking my carrier down and putting some tackle zones on the ball. I could not pick the ball up and suddenly things didnt look so bright anymore. Luckily my wiz was in great shape stunning 2 and si another one. The blitz didnt knock gump over though. Making it close.

Sitting here sweating the dwarves failed to score in turn 8.

Much closer than i thought after first half. Thx for the game Spelledaren was fun. Was really lucky with injuries all game, outbashing beer in the beard as well ;).”

Gump was a star, not falling to elf blitzes until the fourteenth die hit him. The breaking of the cage seemed to be just the major break I needed in the second half to get a draw and OT. Unfortunatly the fireball hit extremely hard, too bad with my +ag dorfs surrounding the ball. At least Gump didn't fall to it!
The first Blitz! was a major pain, the slow dwarves couldn't get a grip on the fast elves for several turns, aided by the fact that the elves broke armour more then we did. I was very pleased with scoring 1-1 in time for second half, figuring that my LoS couldnt be pushed around for a 1 turn score. Unless someone gets Quick snap!
For most of the second half the dwarf ball handling skills were better than that of the elves. It was an odd game. In the end we couldn't stand up to the this fierce elf team.
