Khemri vs Khemri - should be some pain here!

We've only got 3 mummies and have a blitz-ra and our thro-ra both MNG'd after our last (painful) game, and only have 11 players to field, vs Kazadrum's fairly new but fully equipped team.

We kick off and the ball lands right beside one sideline, slowing down their initial attempts to make it safe. They try the pick up with a thro-ra on T2, but he fumbles it into the crowd who throw it back into the center. T3 and they badly hurt a rookie skelly (no regen) to join an earlier KO'd one making it 11 vs 9 on the pitch. T4 and they badly hurt our block/guard mummy (regen, fortunately!), though then a skeleton -2d blocks ours trying to avoid being crowdpushed, resulting in a skull and a badly hurt!

They follow up with two more KOs, making it 10 vs 6 and then finally pick up the ball and run upfield with it. We just about manage to get a mummy back to stand beside him - they crowd in enough players to let the blitzra escape with a 2d blitz, but then he trips up on the GFI! We get a skeleton back with 2 GFIs and then run our DP back with one GFI to put in the foul... not even breaking armour! He stands up on their final turn and makes the 4+ dodge and 4+ pickup and final GFI to score without RRs left and take the lead.

We have 4 players in the KO box but two chances to wake them up... and only manage to get 2 back. That means we are receiving with 8 vs 11.. not going to be pretty! And they get a blitz... egads.

Still, we manage to knock over a mummy on our turn and foul him for a niggle (regens) which at least evens the mummy count, though they quickly KO two players making it 10 vs 6 again. They take full advantage of the numbers to push forwards and manage to KO our str4 skeleton with the ball. By T4 they have the ball in hand and are moving towards our endzone putting in gang fouls with their DP to keep us down, though they manage no more damage before scoring on T7.

We get a turn of punching (nothing) and the game ends 2-0; not a surprising result given we were playing with 6 players for the majority of the game!
