“Going into this match (considered a grudge by the Fireflies) the teams were on an even score (being at 1-0-1) , and not knowing what future seasons held (whether there would be another chance to face off), this match was all set up to be the decider. With a number of Break tackle Saurus and the speed of the skinks, keeping a solid defence was going to be a tricky task. Not to mention his zon killer, Tamalli prowling the pitch.
Things couldve gone either way, but with good dice and Zara distracting the Saurus, the Flies were able to keep the ball protected and seal up the game.
Another great match vs a fun and skilled coach. See you after the prems mate! :D

Zara had joined her sisters-in-arms, and was a presence for most of the game, lending her strength where needed.
With an obvious gameplan in mind, the zons also targeted Lizzies enforcer wherever possible, making sure to put the boot in when they could. While Tamalli managed to last the game despite these attentions, he was rarely in a position to effect the gameplay, and the Fireflies used this to advantage, ensuring that as often as possible, only skinks were able to make a play for the ball.
It wasn't until the last two turns of the game, when, 2 nil down, the Lizzies had Tamalli in a position to affect gameplay, and his influence showed, allowing rookie d'uM-nKez to scoop up the ball and hand it off to tom`Atl who cooly dodged free and scuttled over the line.
Still, 2-1 for the game, and the Fireflies now lead the Lizzies in their encounters, 2 games to 1 won.
