Yet another complete joke - and NO it doesn't even out over the games cos this is happening 2 in every 3 games at least. No matter how you play, it is not possible to compete let alone win these games or get anything out of them. Ridiculous.

opponents troll TTM with target 6, our orcs failing 2+ GFI

minus FF

10k winnings

This game really takes the piss

In response: Thanks for the comments, however, it wasn't a blitz. It was GFI one square to put him in the TZ. Needing 2+ with rerolls wasn't considered a 'high risk' move considering what else had to be done.

Once again the luck meter is totally misleading.

Nigel10 received in the first half and managed a solid drive up the pitch, scoring on turn 5. Ihe kicked to me and his D was good enough that my only option was a TTM to score. Complete luck managed this on turn 8 (troll was in 4 tackle zones and needed a six -- got one).

2nd half Nigel10 got bad beets from the dice. failed GFI's etc. 2 turnovers on his first action ended the half for him and the rest of the game was played out with no real desire to change things from either team.

Edit : Nigel10 quote "No matter how you play, it is not possible to compete let alone win these games or get anything out of them. Ridiculous."

I don't think that's 100% true. I *do* agree with you that there is nothing you can do to stop my first score -- it was all decided by the dice.

However, in the second half the vital turn that allowed me to break for the second td was down to you going for a GFI blitz as your first action with a fenzy BO without block. Even though you had a re-roll this was still a risky action when you could have moved the other orcs into a better position first

I *like* those kind of risky actions but then I'm not a very good coach.

Thanks for the game Nigel10 -- sorry that the dice decided it. I didn't deserve to win.

(edit -- As Nigel10 mentioned it wasnt' a bliz just a move action with 1 GFI with a reroll -- so 1 in 36 chance of failure) so my comment is pretty much meaningless. Hope we play again sometime with less extreme dice.
