Could have gone either way - but after the gobbo kill during the first turn ( "I tripped on him ref, honest..")the Ogres decided to hit hard. End of the 1st half saw me with only 3 players on the field..
Still, skelie's were up for it in the 2nd. Ran down the right flank with a mummies whilst the skelie linos ran cover, mainly through stooooopied ogres. Good play to get a couple of side stepping gobbos next to my mummie, just couldnt get the first one down, and after 2 turns the second arrived and I was always destined not to score -solid defence by the gobbos !

We receive first but they do the first damage, with a rookie skeleton +3 foul KILLING one of our gobbos! We do start to fill up their KO box however with 3 skellies and a mummy in the first 3 turns. This continues for the next few turns and on T8 we have 8 of them in the KO box and the ball near their endzone. We decide not to score, hoping they only get say half their players back which would mean a much easier 2nd half.
Disaster! 7/8 wake up from their KO box so they have a full squad vs our 9 players... ouch!
We manage a bad kick that lets them hand the ball to a mummy and they advance into our half, getting a skelly sent off with their first foul. We MNG another skelly (regen) so it's now 9v9, but they have taken advantage of some bone heads to get most of their skeletons through and we can't get at the ball. We throw a sidestepping goblin in the way of their mummy, but then double skulls two turns in a row plus a horde of bone heads means we cannot get back to attack the ball. We get a 2nd sidestepper beside him and he just can't break free, as we hold him up for 5 turns without blocking him. T8 and he goes for 2x 6+ dodges... making one and then tripping over in the endzone!!
