Epic grudge match! One of the roughest matches I have ever played that wasn't completely lopsided. I won the toss and elected to receive. First kickoff event was Get the Ref, both teams tied, let the fouling commence. I was able to score on T7, but had so few players left that I couldn't do much to prevent the equalizing score. I started losing the attrition battle late in the first half as well, which carried over into the second half. At one point I had only 3 players lying on the pitch and was content to just lie there. The Twilighters decided they wanted a chance to score a 3rd TD. This nearly cost them as I was able to get the ball within 5 paces of his endzone. But he got it back and set up for a T8 hand-off/pass combo. However, I was able hit his Witch Elf so hard I got a MA break.
Both coaches skilled up several players, and we both got a failed aging roll (niggling) on a 3rd skill player. The game CAS I don't mind, the aging ones just suck. Still, it was a fun, brutal game and both teams had fun. Grats on your victory and your points, adambomb. Now both teams will need a recovery game before our next tournament.
