“OCCS Bloodweiser Cup 2010 - round 1

A game I did not expect to win, just to have fun. I managed to do both. My opponent, I'm not sure. He kept his chin up the entire game and was a great sport, but I know I wouldn't have had fun in his place. My armor held up beautifully, though I did fail the only regen roll I attempted and had a player kicked out for fouling (twice actually, but I successfully argued the first foul of the game). Poor lauth, his armor was made of wet tissue paper and I'm pretty sure he failed all 7 regen rolls he attempted. When nuffle has your dice captive, it's hard to overcome. I give lauth credit for fighting all the way to the end and forcing it to OT. He was threatening my ballcarrier in OT for at least the first 4 turns, maybe 5 turns before I finally managed to secure the ball in a loose cage.
