“An epic match that truely was a game of two halves. A rapid Dark Elf break and score lead to the Mongrels counter attack, which was blunted in brutal style as True Dark smashed through the Marauders - injuries and knocking out several, inlcuding the death of Graydirge. A desperate throw of Grognot almost resulted in a score until he was also taken ou and missed the rest of the game.

Thankfully for the Mongrels, several players recovered at half time leaving the scores close. And it was time for rookie Skaven Longtalon to shine. Firstly by taking a long pass from Greypelt to the line and for a quick rush in when the Dark Elf offence was halted by a fumbled pass.

A final Dark Elf attack was staged, but the receivers were taken down and the ball lose. A hat trick by Longtalon looked on the cards, until a superb intercept by closely marking Rammus.”
