“Lustrian finals- Semi Final match.

Smash, bash, thud, Pootash! were some of the sounds most often reported in this game.
Enterpainment, had some good opening rolls- with the swogglers niggled black orc, niggling out and 'I am the greatest' handicap, ruling out another black orc, in favour of keeping Pootash on the pitch.

Winning the toss, the swogglers chose to have candeljacks team receive first, and set up their defence.
The opening rounds of the exchange saw Enterpainment fail to cause much pain, but the swogglers remove one orc from the pitch and KO another before putting down a SF tacklzone on the carrier.
As the swogglers exerted some control over the position on the pitch and harrassed the carrier, Candlejack decided only risks were going to salvage the position and made a few dice rolls to confound the swogglers defence and leave Pootash out of position as he failed his 4+ dodge to try and take down the carrier.
Switching play well to the other side of the pitch the Enterpainment crew screened their carrier and made for the Endzone while the swogglers put more orcs off the field (mostly KO to be woken up by salts at half time).
The swogglers managed to break the screen in turn 7 and put a Black orc tackle zone on the carrier, however the orc thrower dodged away easily to run in the score in turn 8 as the crowd went wild.

And so finally... for the first time in any stage of the lustrian campaign, high flying TTM specialist Mankeow Nippleclamp actually took to the field....having been wrapped in cotton wool until now.
The ball was kicked and then picked up (using a rr) by an orc blitzer and delivered in to Nippleclamps safe hands.... Detritus the troll picked the little guy up and flung him deep in to the field. The crazy ag4 mv7 little fella landed without a hitch, jogged through orc tackle zones and put the ball down neatly on the line! His work was done ;)

The crowd went wild, Candlejack no doubt cursed, and the swogglers set up for the second half, with a place in the finals almost in their grasp.

Despite the comparitive lack of mighty blow for my team, it was again the swogglers who out smashed enterpainment, removing a couple more players early in the half. Candlejack played well, putting tackle zones on the carrier and thwarting a breakout move down the left flank, forcing the swogglers to retreat and regoup. Disaster almost struck as Candlejack engineered a 1db on Pootash, only for the dice not to be kind with only pushbacks rolled.

The swogglers were still in a tight and messy spot for a moment, but with much of the Enterpainment crews team now committed. After some thought, Pootash was cleared off his two markers and made a break for it, with a heavy orc screen in between enterpainment and him effectively guaranteeing the score with a few turns to go. The swogglers put in the boot further and marked anything that didnt get back up, before Poot ran in his 52nd touchdown \o/

Going in to turn 16, Enterpainment still had the TTM option with salts waking up the troll.... The pickup and GFI to handoff were good, the troll woke up and successfully threw the gobbo, but with no RR the gobbo splatted in to the ground on landing, failing to emulate the high flying antics of Nippleclamp.

2-1, no missing players for next match, and a real shot at the titel for the swogglers!
