“I've read many match reports about the Marauding Hugs (and other teams coached by Clarkin) and I was happy when he offered me a game. We quickly accepted with our undefeated Chaos team and set out to keep our streak going. Although we didn't pull off the win, I was happy with the tie. As Clarkin pointed out, I allowed the Dark Elf Renegade to leap over my lines when I thought I had him cornered. I completely forgot about Leap, so I deserved that :) My minotaur was so angry about not getting the POW in 9 dice he took it out on the Hugs the rest of the game (2 CAS and at least 2 KOs). Clarkin's defense was solid and I just couldn't get through to score with time expiring in the 1st half. That was frustrating :) I wanted to score quickly in the 2nd half and try to take advantage of the numbers, but Clarkin thwarted that too with constant pressure on the ball. The TTM attempt at the end of the game was executed brilliantly. He completely covered both the Ogre and the Goblin and I couldn't get anyone within reach of either. I had to settle for collapsing his cage a bit but didn't put a single TZ on the TTM attempt. Fortunately for me the Ogre's aim was off and the goblin sailed backwards instead of forwards. Whew!

“Up against Flashback13's chaos who have gone 13 games since creation without losing... gotta put a stop to that!
We receive first and on T1 they MNG our mino, so we decide to blow the apo to keep him in the game (fortunately it works). T3 and under pressure at the halfway line our dark elf leaps over two CWs to rush downfield towards their endzone. Their mino can blitz back but even 9 dice can't find a POW! They do however MNG one marauder and BH a different one- ouch! We make it 1-0 on T4 to at least get 11 players back on the pitch and kick off again.
They have 4 turns to try and counterscore but our defending is working well and they just can't find a way through. T7 and they POW our dark elf for a MNG and on T8 KO our gobbo with a mino both-down.
2/2 of our KOs fail to wake up so we've 9 vs their full squad. We rush into their half after the ball, knocking it free on T3 and then again on T4. They recover it both times and now it's in our half in a +AGI CW's hands. Both teams have scored a BH and we're still outnumbered. We manage to free up our mino who can break tackle to blitz over the CW, but for the third time they recover and this time a beastman runs deep into our half.
T6 and they start stalling, while their mino KILLS our linerat with a POW blitz, while our mino manages a BH. The following turn they get another BH and score. 1-1
We have 8 players and 2 turns to try and win it. The gobbo is available for a TTM attempt, which is what we set up for, and all goes well.... except he scatters backwards out of range of the endzone!!!
