“First game of FFB-Box! Our brand new norse are up against JanekT's orcs and with 140k of inducements we decide on an apo.

We kick off while the fans both throw some rocks, scoring a pair of stuns. Their first block of the game sees a lineman KILLED and when we call for our newly hired merc apo it seems he's run off with the cash!!

T2 and T3 sees a lineman and an ulfwerner KO'd so we're seriously outnumbered when they pass to a blitzer and run it into our half. Fortunately we're able to dodge back a couple of players and POW him over and then steal the ball, though by T5 they've knocked it free and it's at the halfway line by one side. T6 and they grab it and we're finally out of rerolls and can't make the dodge to blitz their thrower with the ball. T7 and our snow troll double skulls to KO himself before the score to take the lead.

We have one turn before half time (two with a riot) but our berserker manages a skull on a block and ends up DEAD. A poor start to the team so far!

We set up 8 to receive vs their full team as they kick off for the 2nd half. We KILL a black orc on T1 with our clawed snow troll but their apo saves him and we push into their half as quick as we can. But we're still outnumbered and outskilled here and our rookie players just can't do it with the ball lost by T3 and in orc hands on T4. We burn our final reroll on some more failed 2d blocks and watch them stroll it in for a comfortable 2-0 orcish victory.
