“Ehlers' nurglers look well skilled up and a tough nut to crack with 2x +STR players, though at least they have 3 journeymen so any cas we can manage will really help us out.

Their first turn is marred by a turnover from their claw/MB warrior and we take advantage by KO'ing him with a foul, plus KO another NW with our MB wolf. They take advantage of our players being massed to one side to switch it to the other and on T3 with a double GFI make it 1-0.

We receive and immediately KO their STR5 NW with a foul while rushing the ball unopposed down one side. We can score by T6 but decide to stall out two turns before doing so. They get a rotter sent off fouling back and the half ends 1-1.

Both their KO'd NWs wake up (curses) so they have 10 vs our full squad. We start well, scoring two cas on two loner rotters though then getting a zombie sent off. They then niggle a flesh golem (regens) and when we try and run down one side this time they swarm over, even getting their beast's tentacles in. We are forced to run the ball backwards and then with our top wolf trapped go for a -2d block against the beast.. double POW and a KO!

This time they manage to dodge blitz their tackler to knock down our ghoul, but a good turn of blocking lets us recover the ball with a wight and run it towards their corner. They KILL our guard wight, but fortunately he regens, and we counter with a KILL on a rotter for a free zombie before making it 2-1.

Again both KOs wake up for them but that only gives them 7 players as we kick off and roll up a blitz which we use to KO their claw/MB NW. They try and leg it down one side, but we easily counter and steal the ball to make it 3-1 on our final turn.
