“Extremely extremely close game: I win kickoff and manage to score in 4 turns (trying to stall it) like any halfway-competent skaven coach. He responds, but some awful ball handling rolls prevent the dwarves from scoring before the half ends.
I kick off to him, and get a blitz, but I make a big mistake and attack the wrong side (the one which I couldn't bust through easily), and he grinds up the field, quickly scoring in about turn 4 and making it 1-1.
He kicks to me, but I drop back too far and lose the ball, so he scores in turn 8 to make it 2-1.
Final kickoff result is a quicksnap, and I set up a chainpush. Push works, I get the ball, succeed on my 4+ long pass (no rerolls left by this point) and catch, run down the field, pass one gfi... and roll 1 for the other, leading to an extremely close game that was exciting from start to finish.
Oh yeah, and interestingly enough, the only CAS in the entire game was from when my gutter runner rolled snake eyes on a dodge, and RIP'd. Luckily the apo worked for once.”
