1st half, I received the ball and he set up a deep defense. looking to keep the play in front of him I guess. So, I moved about 4 squares into his pitch after knocking down the front line, and made sure not to have anyone in any of his TZ's. His Clawbomb piling on guy came and stunned a guy, but he didn't really engage my players much. I made a few blocks and fould (stunned) his piler, as well as getting away from everyone again. I moved to go right. He responded and moved with me, but kept a good defense to the left as well. Seeing I was blocked to the right, I went back to the left, and fouled his Piler to the BH box., as well as getting another one hurt (or stunned). Anyway, again, no chaos were in my TZ at the end of the turn. Down 2 players now, he couldn't cover the field as well, and moved back to the left with me. I was then able to make a real push on the right, tho my pass failed, I was in a relatively protected space. So, next turn I was able to blitz a guy off the ball, pick it up, hand it over and score!

The next kickoff, I was up 11 to 8 (3BH and a KO for him),and I got a fortunate kick off scatter--to the LOS. He did some blocks, but a double skull (I think) ended the turn early and I was able to get to the ball. Next turn, I was able to score to make it 2-0 before the half.

2nd Half, I my luck seemed to be on the same track, as I got a blitz..but from there, it went down hill fast. The blitz turn was ended with a foul getting caught--and not even a stun for it. But the KO was deep (in the EZ) this time. Again, he made some blocks but his turn ended early and he did not pick up the ball. My MA 9 catcher ran in, hoping to pick up the ball and gfi to make it 3-0, but failed the pickup. From there, my guys started to leave the pitch in one way or another, before he scored (on turn 8...really don't understand why he didn't push to score earlier to at least try for a tie game--I guess you can get stuck in the 'score 1 time per half and win 2-1' model and it's hard to come out or--or something. Anyway, I had 7 players off the pitch by the time he scored..3 ko, 2 si, and 2 sent off.
