“Not a fun game, but it was a win and I'll take it no matter how it happened. 1st half I had great luck and was able to get the ball. Then my internet connection dropped and it took me a bit to get back in the game. When I did, my luck turned sour. Not saying there is any correllation, just venting my spleen about how damn annoying it was. I burned my last 2 rerolls in 2 consecutive turns and both of them failed. Then when I needed a push on a 1 die blitz to score in T8, I rolled a skull and was out of rerolls. 2nd half started and my opponent was on a rampage, BH 1 player and SI a BOB. Also, my KOs just wouldn't come back. I was barely able to score in T5, leaving plenty of time for Catalyst to score the tying TD. And he nearly did too. It was only a late series of skull/pows on blockless players (a golem and a zombie) that saved the game for me.

Listening to complaints about the LRB6 ruleset didn't help either. I know it's been a bit of a challenge for all of us to adjust, and most days I would let it go. But tonight, it just grated on my nerves for some reason. That's why I was so quiet in the 2nd half. I couldn't really think of anything to say and I was getting ticked at the dice. Better to keep it in sometimes than say something I'll regret later.

Thanks for the game, and I hope you warm up to the ruleset some more. If not, I hope you find a hobby that's less painful for you ;)

And... the VP went to a Lineorc that I really don't want to hire. Money roll was a 1, rerolled into a 2. On the plus side, Eddie Gouge (+AG Blitzer) skilled and got +MA. It was a double 5s, and I could have taken Dodge, but I didn't even think twice. Orcs need +MA anywhere they can get it, and doubles are easier to roll than 10s. ”
