We took up the whole first half scoring, making a couple nice/lucky plays to keep the DEs at bay, and holding onto the ball until T8. 1-0

Second half on defense, we try to box in their potential pass-catchers and rush a wolf toward their runner, back with the ball. They block one side of the field off and run their runner down. We manage to put a Guard on the ball, then dodge our wolf 4+3+ through a TZ to get there and drop the runner...who had dumped off to a blitzer. We had him well surrounded though, and even with some help clearing the way, he needed a 3+ dodge to get out, and failed. We got the ball in the hands of a Blodge/SS wolf and he ran off with it. The DEs blocking off part of the field meant, by default, I had the rest blocked off. They manged a chase, but rather than risk giving up some 1db blocks on the ball, I scored. 2-1

With 3 turns to go, I was worried about my ability to stop the tying score. We did the "cover receivers, rush thrower" bit again. He managed to free up a DE blitzer in scoring range, but his LOS blocks forced a reroll. Not having Pass, the runner fumbled the ball, and we pounced. We got a ghoul over to mark the ball, and Bebop Shatterfang, having the game of his young career, KILLED the runner, grabbed the ball, and took off. He scored in T16 to make this one look a lot less close than the final score. 3-1
