“Our first loss come against an extremely lucky and boring opponent. Never said a single thing in chat - despite my attempts to chat. It was 2-1 our favor at halftime with us receiving...but he got the perfect storm - of ball kicked right on the sidelines and us failing pickup with RR - then getting tossed in for him to pickup - we smashed him with 6 dice, but he got lucky and then dodged away to score. Next kickoff was the same thing - right on the sidelines - we managed the pickup only to drop it to a 1d block - we were in great position, but again failed pickup with RR - then he picks it up - we toss another 5 dice at him and fail - including a triple skull on a 3d block for a turnover. Next turn we double skull on first action - and are out of RRs. Next turn, we fail again our first action (a gfi to set up a chain push). Results is a loss to a team that normally we would be able to crush...often not so bad - but opponent remained silent throughout which certainly made the game very boring as well...4 minute turns by opponent - long pauses with no movement - and no chatting - and then him getting the good dice = very unfun game.”
