“A classic tale of two halfs.

First half the Nightmare's score quickly, then pressure the ball and get the defensive score. No cas suffered, only one ejection and a couple of ko's. Fielded 11 to start the 2nd (with one in reserve I think).

Second half...vamps lucky to hold on for a win. Two LOS thralls killed on T9. Managed to blitz the ball free but a gfi stunned my blodge vamp with the ball. The Slaaneshi gathered up the ball and marched it down field. No stopping them.

With four turns to go the Nightmares received with the intention to go for another quick score to go up by two. Perfect Defense nixed that idea. Made a few moves and at least managed to pick up the ball (with a rr), but then disaster. Snakes. Then, snakes. Turns 13 AND 14 ended on failed dodges (with dodge vs. no tackle!) The dodge was my first move on T14. Left the door open for the Slaaneshi to blitz the ball free from Baron Schitzor.

The Vamps tried a desperate punt but Schitzor, after a heroic effort to retrieve the ball, fummbled. The Chaos team piled in and grabbed the ball. A mere handoff away from getting the tie...they dropped it.

A close match the Nightmares are ecstatic and relieved to take a win from even though at the half the win looked assured. Good game boruppeter, and I'll see you in the Box.”
