“WIL Grand Tournament, Round 2.

Once again the Miners were up against Rats and once again they knew that the slightest error would give the Rats a chance.

The Rats started the game, quickly breaking through the Dwarven lines. The miners quickly removed some rats from the pitch, as the Holy Cliffs took the score to 0-1. The Dwarves prepared themselves to reply and in a swift turn put themselves in a good position and removed even more Rats, going on to score for 1-1 at the break.

After the break only 4 Rats took to the field to kick and the Miners had little difficulty breaking through to score for 2-1. The final 3 Rats were not ready to give up though, as 2 were given the job of looking after the advancing Dwarven horde, the Gutter runner looked for a gap. With 2 Rats dispatched the Gutter took his chance, breaking through the Miners lines and punting the ball up field, but the Dwarves brought him down and removed him from the pitch, ending the valiant attempt by the Rats.
