We're up against Sutherlands' chaos pact who have way less guard than us, but more MB, more strength and some nice players like their +AGI dark elf.
They kick first and start things off with a blitz! This messes up our first turn, but we can still recover the ball in some safety. Or so we think.. as we have failed to knock over their agi5 blitzer despite 6 dice (with tackle/MB) and he can 1d blitz the ball free on T2! We recover and surround the area with players but again they can knock our thrower over with a 1d blitz and this time the dark elf steals it... but then much to our relief double 1s a GFI! T4 and for the third time in a row they 1d pow the ballcarrier over... we need some blodge here!!
This time we put in a ludicrous 8 dice on the lucky sod before finding a POW, saving us from an almost certain TD. Still he hasn't been hurt and bounces back up to steal the ball yet again. T6 and we blitz him over but then fail to pick up the ball and he steals YET AGAIN and runs in the opening touchdown.
We have two turns til half time but they get a perfect defence (our +2 FAME so far totally wasted on kickoffs) which messes up our attempt at scoring quickly. We get a decent chance, getting with in two 3+ rolls of it.. but fail a catch and the half ends. Disaster so far; going to need a far better 2nd half.
We kick off to a quick snap (3rd nice kickoff result for them!) and they quickly try and push down one side, with a great T3 that means we have to try for a fairly desperate move... and our tackle/MB blitzer fails the dodge and KOs himself! They stall it for one turn and then make it 2-0. We have 4 turns left so with orcish speed I can safely say game over now! We go for a quick TD, but again orcish hands drop a catch and in fact the AGI5 dark elf rushes in to steal it. We put in 6 dice of block (4 with tackle) without joy, in fact pushing him close enough that after one more chainpush he can make it to the endzone: 3-0!
Well won Sutherlands, the resilience of that dark elf vs my continued tackle blitzes put me right out of contention. Good luck in the tourney!”

I thought the guard would spell the end of my team, and he certainly got in a good number of hits because of it, but the teams armor held with only a few going off the pitch. This combined with the inability to get rid of my DE allowed me to take the victory.
