#7 Manuelo II – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
#11 Pent II – Gouged Eye (MNG)
#18 Julius Silenthammer – Broken Neck (-AG)
Thanks for the match, had tons of fun. Elves prepared for the game by hiring some nice babes and a wandering apothecary in preparation for a bloody game against those scary S4 saurii. They proved to be quite unnecessary however as the steely elven muscles seemingly protected them from all harm.

Elven offence turned out to be unstoppable with Kent the thrower making those long bombs with ease and nerves of steel catchers doing the rest. On the defense the elves managed to dislodge the ball from a skink and pluckily went after it, throwing a nice long pass to a free catcher which lead to a TD.

Elves almost managed to score once more at the end but a 2+ pick up proved to be too hard for Guido before he could even pass the ball.

All in all the luck was on our side and we managed to make all the important rolls. The luck continued post game as my S4 catcher Julio gained AG boost (making him into quite a monster), Guido got Tackle and Kiku managed to roll the fabled boxcars. Now I have 2 S4 elves.

This game was the Bloodstorms typical matchup against elves - we were unable to handle the ball all that well, and whenever we dropped it, the elves darted in, made a long pass, and scored a TD. On defense, the elves simply dodged all around us, and made a TD. Tlaloc says 'GET TACKLE YOU LAZY SAURII!' Ssska and Tallac both ignored Tlaloc and acquired Mighty Blow instead.

Shindahl was impaled on an elven cleat early in the first half, and declared dead on the pitch - but the Apothecary ran out, and blasted him point blank with an experimental lightning rod he was working on, dislodging the metal piece stuck in the Skink's heart, and reviving Shindahl all at once. Shindahl promptly fouled like mad, screaming insults at the ref all the while. The ref did not ignore this and banned Shindahl immediately.

The rest of the game looked to be rather dull for the Shrieking Bloodstorm until turn 6 of the second half, when the Saurus suddenly remembered how to clobber people and got 4 casualties on the same turn! This amazing turn of events lead to... no further TD's in the game.

Thanks to Jan-Erik for a fun match-up, and for teaching me to pay attention to sidestep dammit!
