“Gutter Rats receive, and almost lose the ball right away due to a blitz and unfortunate turnover or two. However, we manage to pull out, run up and get a handoff to run away with it and score late in the first. Lightwing proceeds to respond with a very heroic pass from Hilateug Faireye. Faireye dodges away from the two gutter runners marking him, runs past them, and 5+ longbombs it to a waiting blitzer who runs it in for the score in Turn 8 despite the Rats getting a blitz themselves. Second half is tied 1-1, but rats are slightly outnumbered. We kick off to them, but charge through their lines and on our second attempt, with a 1 dice block we manage to knock the ball loose and into the crowd, where it flies into the middle of our half, with no one from either team that close. Quire a scrum occurs, and it looks like the ball could go both ways, but eventually the rats get the ball out, hand it off, and run away with it, scoring to bring it up to 2-1. However, now outnumbered, the Gutter Rats are unable to successfully defend, and in turn 16 Lightwing scores the equalizer. Now with only 5 players on the field, trying a one turner will be simply impossible, so it ends up being a tie after an exciting game, 2-2. Could have gone either way at many points.
