“This was a ferocious match at times. Draknil was badly hurt almost straight away and by half time club favourite Jim Wight was killed permanently, it will take some considerable time to adequately replace him. We went down on numbers but the ghouls managed to get the ball back after the cage was broken to score. Second half we were getting bashed but the Orc ball carrier tripped (one of several failed gfis from both sides) to give us the chance to win. The Orcs were also surprised to face Aaah (formerly a spry Black Orc) as a zombie. The ball was forgotten for the last 3 turns and it was a good scrap overall.”
