“Brutal, just brutal. I think I got overconfident when my other Pact team debuted by beating those vampires. But now here are orcs, and that is not a team that starts weak. They stomped my men into the ground, and also I had bad luck on armor/injury rolls early. Definitely regretting not picking up the elf... also regretting starting with the minotaur. Got greedy, and now here I am.

I am going to keep these guys, mind you... the only guy to score a casualty subsequently got killed, but building a pact team is a long process. Even 6 total SPP on the marauders is nothing to sneeze at. I'm going to get through another game, the Mino will come back, I'll use my money to buy an elf, and everything is cool.

By the way... only bright spot? Nathaniel Hornblower the goblin was on some kind of crazy blocking juice. Knocked down ball-carrying orc blitzers TWICE on 2 dice against. That goblin's got spirit! (He also failed two go for it rolls in the same turn, and dropped a pass after a reroll. Clearly, this is more of a fighting goblin.)
