“Although on paper Intoxicated were the better team, I still found the prospect of playing an SWL Legend quite daunting. However a good start from the orcs with a causality on one of the blockers on the first turn and followed by a KO on a Hobbo on 3rd turn gave Intoxicated the advantage and dismissed any concerns of an upset as Temporary Placeholder were out manned and outgunned throughout the game. The black orcs were able to tie up the dwarf blockers much of the game allowing the blitzers to turn over the ball twice in the 2nd half to grab 2TDs.
Thank you Sandune for playing in such good spirit and good humour. It just wasn't your day with the dices today as you needed the luck when out manned but it just went the other way. Nevertheless I am sure when we next meet, revenge will be vetted out on me in full. Good luck for the rest of the season mate.

With a blocker MNG'd (despite apoth use) on the 1st turn and the BH happening on the 3rd, the game was all over with only 7 CD's ever starting a drive again. The Orcs pushed the Temps around the field with ease and the blockers were tied up by stronger opponents leaving the hobbos to pretend to be elves against orcs! It sort of worked once thanks to a hole in the defence but with absolutely nowhere to go and no-one to back them up the CD's just fell apart...
The coach lost interest and went to the pub (not that his lack of skill added much), the non-existent game-plan proved.. well.. non-existent and Erickan's Orcs trounced the Temps easily.
Only negative for the Mayhem this game was that they didn't make the
match 4-0...
