The Ruffians trained hard in the lead-up to this game against the frogs of Alan parsons and it seemed to pay divedends.

The first half started cautiously, with Limelight hanging deep and hoping some of his team-mates could get free downfield. Unfortunately despite a good early hit from Sirius the big Krox was pulled down and was too stupid to stand up again until the half was nearly done. The dwarfs used the numbers advantage from the felled Krox and an early KO to press their advantage and eventually Máedóc the Bald was able to get Limelight in his TZ. When Sirius finally did stand up he failed in his blitz and went to ground leaving his target dwarf unharmed. Limelight was POWed and the ball was loose, with Máedóc's team-mates suddenly streaming forward to support him. Mad Drust cleared the path and Máedóc took the ball all the way to the line where Limelight's desperate blitz could only push him over for the score. 1-0 at half-time and receiving the kick. Things were looking up for the Ruffians.

A good kick to start the second half saw the Ruffians backed up deep, but unfortunately for Alan Parsons they had run out of Bloodweiser at half time and several Frogs had not returned to the field of play. The dwarfs used their numbers advantage to surround and grind the frogs, daring them to jump free. A failed pick-up from Fáelan the Fleet saw the ball bounce into free play where it seemed for a moment the frogs would regain it, but some good blocking saw Riagán MagOg recover the loose ball. He only had it briefly though as a brave all or nothing blitz against the odds knocked him down and the ball was loose again. Limelight dodged away from his marker, picked it up under pressure and made for the endzone, only for Nuffle to trip him at the last moment. It was a literally stunning piece of bad luck and effectively ended Parsons resistance. From there Fáelan recovered the ball and was able to make his way the length of the field, screened effectively by a wall of dwarf blockers while his team-mates finished off the froggy resistance with a few late CAS.

Twahnlows:

1 vote: Let's talk about me - was out of action for half the game (hence only one vote) but when he was on the field he was always a dnager. Blodge meant he was able to survive even the 3dice blocks thrown at him and his leap gave him great flexibility.

2 votes: Don't let it show - especially early the guard linefrog gave Parsons a slight advantage in some of the blocking duels. He was always in the thick of it and he fought out all 16 turns despite being targetted.

3 votes: Limelight - was involved everywhere and was often Parson's greatest hope to pull off the miraculous. Fought hard in the first half after being dispossessed and almost broke away to level the game in the second half.

#16 Professor Fether – Broken Neck (-AG)
Well the Tribute didn't go to Alan Parsons in this game. Instead the crowd, Nuffle and everyone else i can think of we singing the Ruffians theme song all night.

Twahnlows
3 - Máedóc the Bald for the CAS and TD.
2- Fáelan the Fleet for the sealing it at the end, despite the stall
1 - Mad Drust, because..... well he was mad!
