“The Hammers returned from their 6 game quest to the Northern Wastes, the match reports lost when on our return Brother Karl was slain by a pink horror and then consumed, along with the reports...needless to say the quest was a wash as the Hammers quest to destroy the hordes of chaos was fraught with peril, stupidity, inability to pick up the ball, cant lay a DP boot with out some whistle blowing and just an inability to actually play blood bowl.

Well the Hammers return to Altdorf for some R and R and when on their way to their favorite wattering hole on the "row" they notice one of the shops was broken into, the front door ripped off and a large minatour eating some guys leg in said broken door frame, just taking in the sights...well the hammers cannot stand by whille the Ruinous Powers destroy shops and eat the merchants....TO WAR!!!!!

The Hammers charge in with all their fury...well it seems that minatour had some friends...they blow out of the shop and proceed to decimate the Hammers...Two brothers immediatly on the opeing turn of hostility are blown up to the KO Box...Grogran, in all his wisdom called out the Minatour.."In the name of Sigmar and all that is Holy remove that merchants leg from your nasty snout or I will lay into thee". Well the Minatour at first just looked on like he did not understand but at the mention of the word, thee, well that sent him into a berserker fury. He smashes Grogran in the head, gores him and then sends him carwheeling 20 paces onto the roof, the thatched roof gives and brother Grogran then falls 10 feet into the shop and smashes his head on an anvil and breaks his jaw. As Grogran lays there in pain all he can think of is, "why in the hell is an anvil in the middle of a bakery shop", then passes out.

The Chaos thugs look on in awe at the body of Grogran and forget about watching the ball, they fumbbl it in the back field and the Hammers go storming down field, after a turn of rumbling the hammers break out with the rock and proceed to get a defensive TO for a score.

Well that just gets the scumms heat going and they then proceed to do a 5 turn beat down of the hammers, our blows are deflected the boots go silent..Gorjo the Grim the Big lug Ogre is blindside blitzed by that insane Minatour and is gored in the back, then foot stomped in the face and for good measure one of the lackies pokes him in the eye...well Gorjo can take a lot but a good eye gouge will fell any foe. Gorjo crawls out of the brawl to the BH box to tend to his eye.

Hammers attempt a feeble turn 8 smack down to no effect. Sigmar must be taking a piss or something.

But Sigmar returns from the luve in time for the start of the second half as the Hammers Blow off the LOS and deliver a devastating DP Boot right to the nose and send a CW packing for the night the fans could here the clean snap of the nose all the way in the nose bleed section, and I think they saw the blood from up there also. Hammers open up a hole and eploit it. They lumber down field and manage to punch in the score against stiff resistance and short manned.

But in the end they could not hold on. It was one to many turns for the Hammers to defend as the depleted and beat down Hammers let in the tieing score in the last turn and victory is denied.

The Chaos scumm retreat into the back alleys looking for another victim to eat and some more pillaging for their gold coffers.
