#5 Tarrant – Dead (RIP)
#14 Ol'Hickory – Dead (RIP)
Fight Gone Bad won the coin toss and chose to receive. Black Velveteen had a very raucous crowd supporting them and they were deeply invested in their team. An Elf fan threw a rock that lodged itself deep into Ol'Hickory's brains just as the ball was kicked. The Norse Lineman was killed instantly. Despite the bloody start, FGB kept to their game plan of ground and pound. Elves were mostly knocked out but it was enough for FGB to gain the numbers advantage. They kept their cage up until all the Elves were on their back. Drade would score the touchdown just before the break.

BV received in the second half and it was an eight vs eight fight. FGB overpowered the Elvish lines and pressed into the backfield. The Elf ball carrier tried to blast his own way through the Norse defense but he ran into a brick wall named Bert. On the ensuing fumble, Grant was able to get a hold of the ball. He probably should have scored the ball himself but he handed it off to his brother, Drade. Drade was taken down by an Elf Blitzer and the ball was going the other way. Only a fumbled pass attempt by BV gave FGB another chance. The Norse team was not able to score one last time as the ball was dropped by Grant as the buzzard sounded.
