“A brutal game for two relatively new teams with 7 casualties.

The game opened with touchback for the Devast who promptly flattened the Hellbringer Troll, Smash. The Devast surrounded Smash and a Beastman fouled him, only to be spotted and sent off immediately. Minutes later, Anzul the Devast Ogre flattened the Chaos Dwarf Tziggoran with such malice that the Hellbringer Apothecary could only shake his head after a feeble attempt at sticking his arms back on!

The Devast threatened to score on turn 5 with a Chaos Warrior running the ball deep near the sideline. The Raiders collapsed back in defence and Hobgoblin Gishtop managed to throw a Short Pass to Bull Centaur Tzorak who ran in the TD with not a second to spare before the half time siren.

The second half saw hostilities continue with player after player continuing to hit the astroturf face first. The Hellbringers feinted to the left, then ran back towards the centre. Despite a dropped hand off of twentysix, the Bull Centaur Lzarkon eventually picked up the ball and ran deep towards the Devast end zone.

With Lzarkon so far down the pitch with no pursuers in sight, the remaining Devast and Hellbringer players decided to just bash each other for the remaining minutes of the game.

It has been reported that thousands of fans from both sides have torn up their season passes because they thought the Devast and Hellbringers were Elf teams and they were looking forward to passes and high scoring games, not total carnage!”
