They are only able to knock down one of the norse in the opening turn, after which the norse are able to get into the backfield and pressure the ball. The Yams try to secure the ball, but the norse are able to get to the ballcarrier. After a scrum, the norse grab the ball and are able to run it in for the 1-0 defensive score.

Second half, the norse starting knocking down stunties, and put some boots into the troll for good measure. They don't manage to remove it from the pitch, but they do keep it on the ground, allowing them to set up a defensive line without worrying about the troll. When the troll is able to move, the coach orders him to try and throw a goblin on the norse players, but he misses. Next turn, the coach orders an attempt at surfing, but that plan backfires when the blitz doesn't score a push. The norse are able to capitalize on the positioning to get rid of 2 of the defenders. 1 more throw by the troll gets a goblin a -2db, resulting in only a push, which the norse are able to shrug off and get the early TD for a 2-0 lead.

Nuffle sees favor on the norse and then gives them a blitz. The goblins are particularly vulnerable and are unable to stop the steal for another score.

They then go for the OTT but snake eyes on the stunty dodge ends the game.
